Big Timber operates a fully in-house HSE framework. Every SWMS is site-specific. Every crew member is inducted. Every incident is reported. We don’t outsource our safety obligations to a third-party advisor — we own them.

Big Timber Tree Services was built with a Tier 1 safety framework from the very beginning. Our in-house HSE Advisor, Niamh O’Connor, brings a civil construction background to every project and manages our safety systems the way a principal contractor’s safety team would.
We use Fleet Office for machinery tracking, pre-start records and compliance documentation. Our environmental management plans cover sediment controls, waterway protection, weed and pest management and fauna spotting requirements, developed specifically for each site.
We implement comprehensive SWMS, site-specific inductions, daily Take-5s, toolbox talks and pre-starts on every project, whether we are the principal contractor or a subcontractor working within another company’s safety management system.
